Juvederm is a cosmetic treatment referred to as a filler. It's used to restore facial contours and improve signs of aging. It's an injectable dermal filler with a base of hyaluronic acid. It's a treatment that focuses on the face, specifically the cheeks (Juvederm Voluma XC), lips (Juverderm Ultra XC), and around the mouth (Juvederm XC).
KYBELLA® is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment for adults that destroys fat cells to gradually improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
Laser Hair Removal
During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth. Our physicians have chosen to offer laser hair removal with the Candela GentleLASE because it provides superior results and a very comfortable experience for our patients.
Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well.
GentleLASE is an alexandrite laser that is most often used to treat patients with very light skin and dark hair. This type of laser has longer pulses of light, which lets it target and destroy deeper hair follicles.
